There are 7 main steps to developing and giving 360 feedback:
- Decide on the purpose and outcomes required following the feedback.
- Identify who the feedback is going to be given to. (The participant). Make sure that they give their consent and that they understand the purpose.
- Identify a framework of competencies to be included. The questions must be framed in a positive way.
- Ask the participant to agree the key people to be involved.
- The participant will complete a self asssement so that they can measure their own assessment against others.
- Collect data confidentially
- Give feedback to the individual
